About This Pipe
Tonni Nielsen's bent Brandy shapes are often of the low-slung, languid variety, all of that soft curvature in the bowl extended to the line of shank and stem. This is a different sort of bent Brandy, however, its tall stem and sleek profile feeling quite active in comparison. It's further enhanced by the finish Tonni has chosen, which pairs a dark, warm stain and smooth gloss to a line of carvings along each side of the shank, the style not just adding texture, but a dynamic sense of movement, thanks to the stepped style and way that those steps shrink in size as the shank tapers toward the stem. An elegant piece all around, and one with no shortage of incredible, tightly-wound momentum.
