About This Pipe
By fusing an upright Dublin bowl with a sinuous, trailing shank and stem, here Tonni Nielsen has produced a lovely silhouette with a powerful, forward momentum in profile. That momentum is further accentuated by the slight cresting wave like lip to the aft of the bowl, as well as the smooth taper and curl to the fore and heel. What's more, he's done it all while keeping the proportions and overall size fairly conservative, coming in at just over 35 grams and near five inches from fore to bit. Finished in a deep, ruby contrast, it showcases this block's flame pattern beautifully — accented only by a thin wafer of genuine horn.
