Smooth Bent Dublin with Bone (Viking) Tobacco Pipe

Tonni Nielsen's bent Dublin shapes often boast this sort of profile: lean and light-feeling, despite the bowl making up a large portion of the piece overall. It's a result of the careful balance through the subtle transition, upward-kicking shank, and lithe line of thin stem, all of which serve to make the taper of the bowl feel quite organic all around. As for the finish, Tonni went with a warm contrast in this piece, which brings out a wealth of flame grain around the bowl, an accent of natural bone allowing the lighter tones of the stain to pop.
