The son of Danish artisan Benni Jørgensen, Lasse Skovgaard was inspired by his father and his neighbor, Teddy Knudsen, to start carving pipes. He began honing his skills at the age of 16, crafting tampers at the W.Ø. Larsen workshop, and in just a few years, he graduated to carving the workshop's coveted Straight Grain pipes. In 2004, he entered the Chicago International Pipe Show, marking his shift to a solo career, and it wasn't long before he amassed a loyal following of discerning smokers that holds strong to this day. Skovgaard's pipes are prized for their clean, graceful lines and impeccable finishes, both of which abound in this offering.
