About This Pipe
If you like long, smooth S-curves, this Tonni Nielsen has certainly got that, from the lines of the shank and stem through the outstretched posture of the transition and well-rounded bowl. While all that alone would make for quite a profile, Tonni didn't stop there; part of what really makes this shape, to my eye, is the thematic echo of sorts found in the wavelet-like roll of the rim. As would be expected of design like this, the briar just falls into hand in a most natural (and smooth) manner — a wonderful arrangement of form. The grain is nothing to complain about, either (to put it lightly).
