A signature shape from the artisan, this Architect takes on a firm, sculptural form and is rendered in concise dimensions, measuring just over four inches from end to end. However, despite its demure size, this piece is still sure to command plenty of attention. Thanks to the bowl's broad, flat heel and the arcing ridgelines on both flanks of the stummel, the shank of this pipe juts into the air, lending the composition an energetic flair. Said shank is quite broad, as is the swiftly tapered stem that joins it, and the former seamlessly transitions into the rim on the bowl's aft side. The fore of the bowl tilts down dramatically, continuing the jutting momentum established by the upward-reaching shank and stem.
