About This Pipe

A fluid, sweeping profile and strong forward dynamism — this is the delicate balance we see at play here in this bent Brandy from Tonni Nielsen. The bowl is canted ever so slightly forward, accentuated by the strong lifting gesture to the heel, and the shank, though sporting slight panels, uses its firmer, well-defined lines to actually complement the curvature of the bowl rather than contrast it. As a Viking grade, it certainly boasts its fair share of grain: tightly bound flame on all fronts — finished in a warm contrast and accented only by a trim wafer of boxwood and a broader piece of buckeye burl.
