A tall, robust bowl urges forward at the fore of the composition, its figure eager to fill the hand, formed by thick, insulating walls flaring high from the sweeping heel toward the rim, whose crown of rugged plateau adds striking detail to this pipe's silhouette. A sturdy shank curls gracefully upward from a tight transition, carrying a gradual flare toward the shank end to balance the composition's visual weight out back just a touch. Joined to the shank is a demurely downturned, tapered stem, its plump, rounded base adding a soft contrast to the bowl's craggy rim.
