Smooth Long Shank Bulldog Tobacco Pipe

We've seen some variation on the classic Bulldog design from Tom over the years, and most have held close to the shape's traditional form — broad bowls and thick diamond shanks. This rendition smooths some of the traditional lines, however. Its bowl has been slung low, its bead lines set near the waist, with a slightly steeper taper above them. Its diamond shank has been stretched a little, resulting in some lost height and softening the lower ridge somewhat. It's sleek and streamlined, and matched by a smooth-polished finish in a warm contrast stain, revealing lively flame at the flanks, with tightly-packed birdseye not only above the bead lines, but down the entirety of the shank as well.
