Smooth Bent Dublin (CCC) Tobacco Pipe

His over 50 years of experience ensures that his pipes are not only beautiful, but expertly shaped and precisely drilled. This particular bent Dublin is an impressively sinuous pipe from the artisan, presenting with a striking degree of curvature through its shank and stem combination that affords this pipe an alluring jaw-hanging posture. The transition is extremely tight, and it gives way to a hearty, sharply upturned shank that's capped by a sleek and smartly curved saddle stem of black acrylic. The heel is centered rather close to the transition, and it acts as a basin for the visual weight of this pipe, where its plunging, belly-like build creates a sweeping arc through the underside as it lifts into the bowl's fore wall. The bowl itself is over two inches tall, and it takes on an expressive flare from the heel to its broad, domed rim, with the fore wall making a dynamic forward urge. The chamber is broad and deep and surrounded by plenty of insulation, as the bowl grows to nearly two inches thick, making this piece excellent for extended smoking sessions. Dressed in one of Cavicchi's iconic honey-blonde finishes and graded three Cs out of five, the bowl is wrapped in dense flame grain, while the rim and underside are peppered with birdseye.
