About This Pipe
Though perhaps a touch more asymmetrical and organic in line, this beautiful number from Tsuge Ikebana's newest carver, Yoshirou Ohi, seems to be inspired by one of Jorn Micke's signature form — a natural-esque Acorn with a high-set, extra-broad waistline and subtly protruding heel. It's apparent that Ohi's setting his standards high, attempting to emulate and personalize the time-honored, signature forms of legendary artisans — standards which, if this Acorn is any indication, he's hell-bent on beating.
