Smooth Bent Dublin with Boxwood Tobacco Pipe

This is the first Dublin we've seen from the workshop of Alexander Tupitsyn, and for the life of me, I can't figure out why. Poul Ilsted, the Danish master, visited PS Studios in the summer of 2012 — yet it's now 2015. In that time we've seen our fair share of Bulldogs with a definite Ilsted influence to the clearly defined lines, yet still retained Tupitsyn's signature organic flow; but this is the first Dublin, which Ilsted also produces a number of. Regardless, we have one now and I think you'll agree that at least one happy smoker out there will be the happier for it.

This bent Dublin appears almost Poker-like in silhouette, with a low set and abrupt transition, yet it has a clear curve to the sloped heel, a fine outwards taper toward the rim and an oval shank that has been paneled at its angles to give a definition to the shank's line. Oh, and to put the cherry on top, it sports tightly striated straight and flame grain around the bowl, dense birdseye on the rim and heel, a slight plateau feature, and a boxwood accent.
