I’ve had this as one of my go to tobaccos for a while now. It smells and tastes great, has zero bite, and is enjoyable year round. The fruit flavoring reminds me of fig or plum, and it is very well balanced and not overly sweet like some aromatics can be. I currently have about 2 lbs, with one batch cellared and the other in my regular rotation. Cornell & Diehl Founding Fathers was one of the tobaccos that helped begin my journey into aromatics, and it remains a great example of how well an aromatic can work when the flavoring is handled with restraint.

What I appreciate most is the subtlety. The sweetness is present, but it never overwhelms the underlying tobacco. There is a soft fruit character woven into the natural nuttiness, earth, and mild sweetness of the leaf, creating a smoke that feels balanced rather than heavily cased.

This blend helped show me that an aromatic does not have to be syrupy, artificial, or one-dimensional. Founding Fathers keeps the tobacco itself at the center of the experience while adding just enough flavor to make the bowl distinctive and inviting.
