About This Pipe
Forward of profile with a good bit of visual weight at the bowl, this Cutty shape from Johannes Rasmussen of Suhr pipes is a splendid take on the age-old archetype. It sports a great bit of bulbous curve at the bowl's aft, further accentuating the shape's gesture, and the ever-so-slight downward curve of the shank and stem offer a gentle complement, all the while bolstering that aforementioned sense of gesture just a slight bit. It wears a rich mahogany stain which complements the cross grain on both flanks perfectly, as well as further adding a sophisticated, classic finish for Johannes' dynamic shaping.
