About This Pipe
The Blowfish is really one of those shapes that needs to be experienced in hand and up close for all of the neat idiosyncrasies of the form to make themselves manifest. Former understands this, as his own renditions of the dynamic form always present interesting, tightly-controlled ergonomics, not to mention a power and sense of implied motion in profile. This fellow is no exception, as it juxtaposes an asymmetrical, forward-ebbing bowl with a faceted, architectural shank and saddle-stem, while also using the bulbous real estate on the right flank to showcase some gorgeous contrast-stained birdseye. A remarkable piece, no doubt.
