Xikar's Pipeline Soft-Flame lighter combines luxurious styling with dependable function. The durable, stainless steel body houses a simple, replaceable flint ignition system, protected by a retro-styled hinged flame cover. It also features a flame adjustment wheel to customize the angled flame's size as desired. While this Pipeline lighter is primarily designed for pipe smokers, it's also ideal for cigar smokers who prefer using soft-flame lighters. Furthermore, a removable, stainless steel tamper and scraper is housed in the base of the lighter. And as with all Xikar products, it comes with a "bumper to bumper" lifetime guarantee.

, so giving me a choice they replaced it with a chrome Pipeline. It's worked well for me without any mechanical issues. The adjustment works well, it holds fuel, and I always get a good flame. If I had to find any sort of fault I'd say it doesn't feel as solid in the hand as other established brands and the wheel is chrome plated and slick, so sometimes my thumb slips off it when my hands are too dry. inally I found it leaked, needing refill after sitting unused. I cannot support these lighters with a good review. I purchased an IM Corona Big Boy and now have a great lighter. There is just no comparison here. Regardless of the warranty, I don't want to have my lighter always out for repairs. By quality the 1st time folks. Lesson learned here for me....Read More

Very difficult to use

Great looking pipe but difficult to keep the flame going. If there is any wind will not work. Also if you try and turn it on the side it goes out. Most likely great for cigars but pretty worthless for pipes.

I have tried many lighters from Zippo to bic. This lighter is made well and has the same soft flame as a zippo but doesn’t dry out. I tried several cheap lighters from Amazon. They were all garbage. It’s worth the extra few bucks to get quality.
