About This Pipe
The Eskimo was one of two shapes chosen for Tom's 40th Anniversary paired-pipe sets, the other being his iconic Poker. In one way this was a little surprising, since the Eskimo is actually a shape we very seldom see from Tom, whereas with his Pokers he always seems to have a few ready for us. On the other hand, while the Eskimo may not be a common Eltang shape, it is most definitely a recognizable Eltang shape; it's his personal evolution of the old Sixten Ivarsson Ukulele, and it has influenced quite a few other artisans despite its relative rarity in Tom's output.
