Smooth Oscar Tobacco Pipe

While we have seen many iterations of the Chacom shape of the same name he designed for the marque some years ago, we have never received an Eltang "Oscar" directly from Tom before. Essentially it is a more lively and fluid take on his own signature Eskimo shape, featuring much of that same breadth in the cross-section, as well as a lenticular shank design. The difference here, then, is that where Tom's Eskimo is very low-profile and squat with a sharp style of line, the Oscar is purely smooth and flowing — implying a subtle swimming motion in the rise and fall of the silhouette's S-curve, and in the cresting wave-like gesture of the bowl's aft. It's a gorgeous shape to be sure, especially here dressed in one of Tom's vibrant contrast stains — highlighting an impressive display of flame and birdseye all around.
