Smooth Devil Anse Tobacco Pipe

If you've yet to get your hands on one of Tom Eltang's Devil Anse shapes, now's the time. Previously exclusive to the European market, since we released this novel shape back in May of 2015, it's seen remarkable demand — and for good reason. Simply put, this is a shape Tom's been working on since he first saw its inspiration hanging from Kevin Costner's lips in the HBO mini-series Hatfields & McCoys. From prototype to the final form you see before you, it's seen many alterations: a more Egg-like bowl, an oval, rather than rounded shank, a slightly longer shank and stem configuration, and, of course, Tom's excellent eye for engineering. It was even the subject of our 15^th Anniversary series. It's presented here in one of Tom's vibrant contrast stains, highlighting an impressive crossgrain pattern to either flank, and tight birdseye to the fore and aft.
