About This Pipe
While this bent shape from Benni is decidedly an Apple, with its plump bowl and soft, supple curves, it has a good bit of Acorn-esque taper to the lower portion of its bowl, as well as a delightful lift to its heel. In this long-shanked rendition, it's been given a sweeping gesture in profile, the transition both smooth and subtle, for an organic presentation that suits its plateau crown and vibrant contrast stain. It's excellent work from Benni Jorgensen, with all of its small details creating a cohesive whole.
