This bent Egg handsomely illustrates Shalosky's penchant for supple curves and compact muscularity. The design features a consistent sense of momentum throughout, carried by a continuous, sweeping undercurve from the shank end to the rim. Standing at the fore of the composition is a tall, forward-urging bowl, formed by sturdy walls curving from the rounded heel toward the sloped, chamfered rim, the overall figure filling the hand comfortably.
