This "55" bent Pot thoroughly embodies the neoclassic aesthetic, drawing inspiration from Castello's famed pipe of the same name and number. The shape is defined primarily by its distinguished, forward-jutting heel and its angular outline. The fore-facing wall's deep slope and extended length make the bowl appear to cant backwards, a unique and unusual shaping cue. Viewing the pipe from its sides, one will see that a firm line underscores the pipe from the front of its heel and through the stem until it bends gently with a Prince-like elegance.
