Was just reminiscing about this blend.
There was something special about it-
It smelled awful but I quickly got used to it and even started liking it- (if I had a nickel)
I do miss this blend.

Marie Laveau widely regarded as the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans would have been 11 when the United States achieved its greatest land victory of the War of 1812 at New Orleans. The battle thwarted a British effort to gain control of a critical American port and elevated Maj. Gen. Andrew Jackson to national fame. Why is this important for a tobacco review? Because Sutliff’s Voodoo Queen is what happens when an English blend meets a Va/Per and I love it! This is a Va/Per with a light Latakia-English flavor. Taste from the bowl is pleasant & smokey like a subtle English blend, retrohale is bready & sweet like a Virginia with slight spice from the Louisiana Perique.

I’m enjoying this blend a lot more in this fall weather than I did in summer. This is bready and smokey with a subtle unsweetened mocha essence. Close to English but for the burley and absence of oriental. The price is right but you have to deal with the woody bits

This one did nothing for me but leave a bad taste in my mouth. The smoke was low on flavor, but whatever the sauce was that they put on it lasted a llllooooonnnnnggggg time after.
