Smooth Bent Dublin (0805) Tobacco Pipe

A deep mahogany red finish graces this modern marvel of pipemaking. Wojtek Patuch may be young, but his design skills are sophisticated far beyond his years and the training he received from Mimmo Demenico and Tom Eltang are certainly evident. One must read a block of briar carefully to render a pipe like this. The grain is vertical and consistent beneath the deep reddish, contrast stain and runs up all sides of the bowl as well as the shank, both of which terminate in darkly stained plateau, with the rim displaying a smooth chamfered inside circumference. Balanced for easy clenching and shaped with easy curves for holding, it has all the earmarks of a comfort pipe for all occasions. The stem is thin cumberland and matches the color palette of the stummel, and its saddle configuration places the visual impression of the pipe fully on the bowl. This is certainly a piece to be proud of and enjoy for a lifetime.
