Smooth Paneled Acorn Tobacco Pipe

This Acorn presents a much more subdued sense of style than what I would consider Tonni Nielsen's usual fare, though there's still quite a sense of eagerness to the form in profile, a result of the carver's characteristically streamlined shaping combined with forward-inclined, plumply-inflated Acorn bowl. Tonni's framed said bowl with a series of precise, neatly-pinched ridges at the fore and aft, complementing the compressed, lenticular shank with aplomb. Finished in a warm, honey-blonde stain, it presents the most subtle of S-curves, and the feel in hand is seriously ergonomic.
