Sandblasted Volcano Tobacco Pipe

Though there's no little amount of substance to this briar's bowl, and a good bit of breadth to its transition and shank, the design places a clear emphasis on a light style; easy-flowing lines, and in particular, easy-flowing lines mostly of a concave nature, cutting into the form rather than rounding it out. The result is a freehand Volcano that possesses mass, but doesn't appear massive, its aesthetics instead defined by elements such as the natural, asymmetrical sweep and roll of the rim, the fine taper rearward in profile, and the delicate little wavelet that crests at the right-forward edge of the heel.
