About This Pipe
The Hawkbill Sitter is a shape that Silver Gray returns to occasionally, tweaking each iteration slightly to ensure that not only is each unique, but steadily improving the form as well. This rendition stands out from many of the previous ones, taller and more straight of bowl, with a more prominent foot beneath, yet maintains all of the supple bend and easy proportions that have made it such an excellent shape. And like all of her pieces, it's been finished beautifully, sporting a contrast stain that pairs light, vibrant flame against a darker backdrop.
