About This Pipe
This bent Apple from Rinaldo is both a compact and muscular rendition of the classic shape. Approaching Nosewarmer proportions, this pipe comes in at just over five inches in length while still possessing a respectable tobacco chamber. The plump bowl provides a satisfying feel in hand as its walls taper to the flat rim from a curvaceous heel. The transition lends ample room to wrap the thumb as it gives way to a rounded shank-and-stem arrangement that gradually tapers toward the bit. The soft bend of the aft also affords a pleasing feel between the teeth and a fulfilling jaw-hanging posture. The inky hue of the mouthpiece pairs well with the lightly-stained stummel, showcasing rich vertical grain across the flanks and patches of birdseye along the heel and rim.
