About This Pipe
This Tomato is Micah Redmond's signature shape. With its almost imperceptible bend, forward cant, and full-waisted, squater-than-squat bowl, no one else fashions the shape exactly like Micah. While the shape is very much the same as his other iterations, this one stands out with its smooth finish and tapered stem. With stunning grain and a warm stain, it's only the second time we've seen Redmond adorn the design with a smooth finish and the first time it's not been paired with a saddle stem. The results are stunning, though, and — in my opinion — make this specific version his best yet. The tapered stem gives the shape an alluring fluidity, keeping consistent its rotund persona while also making it somewhat sleek and streamlined. Combine that with the birdseye-studded underside and the flame grain on the flanks, and you have a gorgeous little smoking machine.
