About This Pipe
Balancing stout, muscular proportions with a tight-knit, bundled up sense of energy, this bent Brandy from Peter Heding is just a stunning piece all around. Though quite abbreviated from end to end, Peter's still showcased his unique Danish style well, paying careful attention to the cheeking of the bowl around the transition and maintaining an unparalleled smoothness and softness to each sweeping line. That inherent softness pairs beautifully with the domed stem base and pronounced boxwood accent ring, offering a natural conclusion to the shank's arcing lines in profile. As a Peter's highest grade, the "Diamond", he's combined all that impressive shaping with an immaculate display of straight and flame grain, engulfing the bowl through a deep, smoldering contrast stain. A true collector's gem from Heding, here.
