Smooth Bent Egg Tobacco Pipe

A supple, elegant take on the bent Egg, this Pohlmann sports a profile any Danish artisan would be proud of. The transition is low-slung, subtly sweeping as it exits the plump, protruding waist of the aft and into the gentle upward lift to the pinched, oval shank. While its proportions are medium-to-compact, there's quite a bit of substance in hand, perfectly resting between thumb and forefinger; yet it still manages a balance that should be quite comfortable when clenched. The grain's the real spectacle here: a near 360 degrees of tight, fine licks of flame and straight grain around the bowl, with acres upon acres of deeply set birdseye along the underside — all accentuated by the warm, splendid contrast stain.
