Barone Sandblasted Chubby Dublin (B) Tobacco Pipe

We've seen Il Ducas with "chubby" in the title a few times before, albeit years ago. Those few rather short and plump Billiards didn't have anything on this Dublin. In revisiting this style, Max has clearly pushed it a lot further; this fireplug of a pipe is just barely over four inches in total length, plus significantly stouter than its predecessors. chamber proportions are kept modest and as a consequence the walls are very thick, promising plenty of insulation for a softer warmth in hand. That combined with a pleasing fullness in feel and a very charming look has me suspecting this Il Duca was intended as a sort of folded flake-specific comfort pipe.
