About This Pipe
Tonino Jacono's shaping style ranges from the unabashedly playful Pesaro school to the more classic side of the Italian neoclassical aesthetic. This straight Dublin sits firmly on the latter side of this spectrum, with a firm, muscular bowl possessed of an expressive flare to its rim, all resting upon a sturdy heel. The shank is comparatively slim and tapers out to meet a trim, similarly tapering stem. Courtesy of the Rook finish, this dressing reveals windswept flame grain through the flanks of the bowl, while the rim and underside are dappled with swirling birdseye.
