Sandblasted Acorn with Bakelite (590) Tobacco Pipe

All of the Acorn renditions we've received before from Micah "Yeti" Cryder have displayed some degree of bend, with some degree of curvature through the shank-and-stem combination. This interpretation, however, presents an arrow-straight profile, the shank and saddle stem somewhat elongated to increase the design's sleek silhouette. Such a design cue calls to mind the aesthetic of Danish artisan pipes from the '60s, particularly the work of Jørn Micke, which often utilized sleek and slender, straight, and somewhat lengthy shank-and-stem arrangements for a crisp and streamlined aesthetic. This Yeti Acorn hearkens to that vintage style while also combining modernist cues, most notably the color palette: The stummel wears a dark sandblast, with rippling grain rising upward toward the rounded rim's plateau crown, but the Bakelite stem richly contrasts with its swirling hues of cream and fuchsia, the pairing calling to mind a nebula's neon hues shining within the dark void of outer space.
