Sandblasted Bent Pot (426) Tobacco Pipe

If I had to choose a favorite out of the three newest pieces we've received from Micah "Yeti" Cryder, it would be this bent Pot. Granted, I am a fan of more diminutive briars, but bias aside, there simply is nothing to dislike about the piece. From a shape perspective, the curve and recurve of the shank and stem line up flawlessly, and the bowl's plump, low-set waist affords a firmness in hand while also lending the profile a strong, structured form. Finish wise, Micah couldn't have sandblasted it better. Consistently stacked ripples of ring grain seamlessly circumscribe the entire bowl all the way up to the polished rim, with craters of birdseye making a lunar landscape out of the heel. It may not be the biggest pipe to grace your pipe rack, but this Yeti piece is more than big in every other aspect from form to finish. Stunning.
