Smooth Blowfish (H) (120) (2014) Tobacco Pipe

Though slimmer between the flanks and more elongated in form, this Blowfish otherwise follows closely to the pattern of the last "H" of this shape we saw from Ikebana — back in 2006. Included in that is the asymmetrical shift, left flank concentrated forward, right flank drawn to the rear, and the handling of the "keel" as it were: a continuous, ribbon-like panel running from forward rim to shank end, with a thin section forking off at the left side of the transition to roll up, and form the rear border of that side's panel. The biggest difference, really, is in the shank itself. While the previous example sported one which twisted with smooth asymmetry and rounded flanks, this Blowfish sports a crisper, straighter, architectural style, with clearly defined panels to either side, as well as above and below.
