About This Pipe

With a shared rustic aesthetic and prime spot in rotations and cellars across the pipe smoking community, a collaboration between boutique blending house Cornell & Diehl and Missouri Meerschaum seems quite fitting.

This affable bent Billiard, modeled after an old Missouri Meerschaum shape, features an easy, jaw-hanger bend as well as a comfortable mouthpiece of Italian acrylic. Known as the Charles Towne Cobbler, it's a classic cob design with plenty of rustic style, not to mention a bit of old world refinement.

Note: While all of our other pipes are photographed individually, these are not, and you may expect some reasonable cosmetic variation between the example we've photographed and the pipe you've received.

Light to clench. Easy to pack and easy to clean. Attractive look. Great walking pipe and easy to carry.
Attention to detail is lacking.

As a long time cob smoker, I'm finding far too many cobs have not been finished well.
The Legends I got last order needed a fair bit of TLC to get them right.
Bits especially have been bent in such a fashion, you can't get a pipe cleaner through them.
Don't they have people that check the
m out for quality etc?!
Very poor form, IMO.

Stem Button closed off a little

The pipe looked good when I got it. However, the button of the stem is smashed a little preventing me from putting a pipe cleaner through it. It still smokes though, so I don't let it bother me too much.
Cracked

Attractive pipe at first glance. Three cracks in the shank. Stem was so tight its obvious that the cracks were a result of force used when it was assembled. Missouri Meershaum quality control is lacking. Smoking Pipes were quick with a refund and I hope they are compensated aswell.
Nice Pipe

Just got mine and broke it in with a bowl of GL Pease Sextant. Very happy and it will be a welcome addition to the rotation. I do wish my cob had been darker like the photo but as I smoke it it will darken over time.
