Mac Baren - Mixture Scottish Blend 3.5oz
A very Good Aromatic
This is a very good aromatic Blend. The topping is not overpowering for me. The tobacco flavor comes out. Good tin note and good room note. This one will be on my permanent rotation.

I am not a Fan
I purchased this blend because I wanted to start trying to find a Burley blend that I may like. I am mainly smoke Virginia forward smoker. I am not a fan. It's rough around the edges. I occasionally taste sweetness from the Virginia, but it's mainly bitter and spicy. If you like this sort of thing, go for it. It's just not for me.

My Birth Year Tobacco and a sleeper tobacco.
I was attracted to this tobacco because it is my birth year. I was surprised by this tobacco. I tried other straight Virgina blends and they tasted bland to me. It has a nice sweetness. The flakes look nice when you open up the tin. You can not beat this price for a tin. It will be in my regular rotation.

Really Good
When I opened the tin, the tin note was nice. The sweety figgy smell pushes me not to age this. The taste is how it smells to me. Everything I am wanting in a tobacco. I will smoke this up. I want to buy more to see how it will age. Very good.

It's Not Bad
The Virginia comes out along with the Perique. The vanilla topping comes out on the back end lightly but fades as the bowl progresses. It smokes hot, but I think it's my cadence that causes the heat. I am not really a ribbon fan though. i am curious how the flavor would change if they pressed this into a cake.

Unique Blend
I bought an ounce to try. What intrigued me was the components. Aromatics commonly contain Virginia, Burley, and Black Cavandish in various ratios. This blend however contains Dark Fired Kentucky. I taste the Dark Fired which is tasty. The topping is present but light. It mixes with the sweet Virginias and Dark Fired very well.

Taste like Herbal Tea to Me
I wasn't sure about this tobacco when I first purchased this because of the mixed reviews. I have found this surprisingly good. The tin note smells like herbal tea and the tobacco tastes how it smells. I am curious of the flavor if you added some Oriental tobacco to this.

Stem Button closed off a little
The pipe looked good when I got it. However, the button of the stem is smashed a little preventing me from putting a pipe cleaner through it. It still smokes though, so I don't let it bother me too much.
