About This Pipe

American artisan Bill Shalosky began his career working in pipe restoration and repairs before eventually crafting his own pipes. He is now considered one of the most influential American artisans, often crafting pipes that range in design and shape. Shalosky produces pipes for every preference, his portfolio ranging from one-of-a-kind designs to shape-chart standards. This bent Dublin is a lengthy and lightweight offering from Bill Shalosky. With a sleek aft married to an earthy, organic fore, this pipe offers a diversity that would add to any collection. Up front, the walls of the bowl rise from a softly lifted heel toward an asymmetrical, plateau-crowened rim. Despite its lightweight stature, this pipe still houses a respectable tobacco chamber, ensuring you aren't sacrificing smoking time with this piece. The transition lends ample room to wrap the thumb as it gives way to a bent, gradually tapering shank-and-stem arrangement, with the former wrapped by band of Juma. The pearly hue of the Juma adds a light contrast to the otherwise dark pipe.
