About This Pipe
Just as a successful piece of pop music will inevitably be remixed and reworked if another artist feels they can imbue the new interpretation with their own distinct style, the same is applicable for signature pipe shapes. In this case, American artisan Adam Davidson's signature Fig sees another interpretation from fellow American Abe Herbaugh, and it is deftly executed in its own right. A vast display of flame grain and birdseye adorns the bulbous bowl, following the curvature of the bowl's flanks. The flared, sandblasted shank offers a subtle bit of dynamism, as well as a nice contrast to the vibrant bowl.
