Pipe of the Year 2026 Partially Sandblasted (9mm) Tobacco Pipe

With roots dating to 1848, Vauen is Germany's largest and oldest pipe making marque, boasting decades of innovations such as the 9mm pipe filter — a feature the majority of their pipes still utilize today. Vauen's annual Pipe of the Year series has been released every year since at least 1993, with each iteration by the German marque being a fine example of the craftsmanship of the artisans they employ.

For 2026, Vauen's Pipe of the Year is this dynamically flowing Freehand design, marked by sweeping, artistically expressive lines and a distinctive silhouette. The design highlights Vauen's "Handmade in Germany" philosophy, with the traditional crossed-pipes emblem individually set into the mouthpiece by hand. The 2026 edition is offered in a range of refined finishes, including a warm smooth brown, an elegant British green, a deep piano-lacquer black, and several sandblasted and partially sandblasted versions that highlight the natural grain of the briar.
