ADVentura Cigars is a collaborative project between Henderson Ventura, the co-master blender at Tabacalera William Henderson in the Dominican Republic, and Marcel Knobel, a Swiss cigar retailer, lounge owner, and sommelier, with help from Robert Caldwell of Caldwell Cigars. ADVentura's portfolio is centered around the theme of exploration, with cigars named The Explorer, The Navigator, and The Conqueror, each one blended from scratch after a year's worth of exploratory development, and all packaged in treasure chest- or pirate ship-themed boxes.

Offered here is The Explorer, featuring a Mexican San Andrés wrapper encasing an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder and fillers from the Dominican Republic and Ecuador. This blend is perfectly balanced for complex nuance, the various tobaccos complementing each other and neither dominating for a "just right" flavor profile.
