Taste is better than the smell
I smoke straight english blends but wanted to try a few english aromatics. I really wasn’t sure about this blend from reading the reviews on here. I find the smell straight from the bag somewhat unpleasant as a few people have mentioned in other reviews. The taste is actually pretty good with a smoky caramel flavor dominating, I pick up a very faint vanilla flavor in the retrohale but not so much otherwise. The aftertaste is pleasant and not very strong. The burn is clean and dry to the bottom of the bowl with no noticeable moisture buildup. Worth the try and I will let it age in a jar for a while and revisit it in the future.
