About This Pipe
Werner Mummert is one of the world's most innovative pipe makers, from his avant-garde, Art Deco finish, creative reverse Calabash designs, and Bauhaus-inspired shapes. He now adds this wild Cue Ball design to that expansive portfolio. The spherical bowl is fashioned from briar and deftly sandblasted to reveal the briar's natural growth rings, matching beautifully with the form's round shaping. The shank, however, is comprised of three pool balls, echoing the bowl's curves but displaying vibrant hues of purple, orange, and blue. It's a playfully themed pipe that also impresses with the German carver's stellar craftsmanship, and it comes complete with a tamper that features a matching billiard ball to complete the aesthetic.
