About This Pipe
I think this may be the most "Lasse" bent Brandy I've ever seen from Lasse Skovgaard. While sweeping lines and a grand stature of bowl are quite regular sights in his work, this is just one of those cases where the curves all come together in way I would call "lyrical"; the number of lines or their turns is not necessarily greater than usual for a Skovgaard design, but the way it all interacts together just somehow seems both more fluid and more complex. Beautiful grain aside, I can see why Lasse chose this design as worthy of his Lion grade.
