About This Pipe
From the extra broad, low-set waistline, to the stouter-than-average transition, to the wave-like curling gesture of the shank and underside, this is a classic Skovgaard bent Brandy — showcasing all the sensibilities and Danish neo-classical cues that have made the form a Lasse signature of sorts. The soft taper up to the rim keep it comfortable in hand, with plenty of room for the thumb above the transition, and the slight paneling along the shank helps to emphasize the full curves of the bowl itself. This iconic Skovgaard is likewise presented in an iconic Skovgaard finish: a tightly knit sandblast, unveiling layer after undulating later of rippling rings climbing up all faces of the stummel.
