Sandblasted Bent Brandy Tobacco Pipe

Though perhaps not as complex as the two other Lasse briars featured in this update, this bent Brandy, to my eye at least, is perhaps the most recognizable piece in the whole batch. The height, waistline, and overall breadth of the bowl itself, the lifting gesture of the heel, the strong curling lines along the underside of the shank, the matching, sweeping motion of the transition, the overall muscular proportions of the piece... all of these elements are characteristics found in almost each and every one of Lasse's Brandy renditions, and for good reason. It's a combination that works, and works beautifully. All the more so in a sandblasted finish, allowing ripples of undulating rings to really shine.
