Smooth Bent Dublin Tobacco Pipe

A beautiful take on the bent Dublin shape, here Lasse Skovgaard has paired the firm and strongly tapered with the sinuous and gestural — juxtaposing the clean, straight lines of the bowl with a sinuous, almost whimsical style of shank, stem, and elongated transition. Tying it all together with a warm walnut contrast stain, the result is a cohesive and elegant Danish neoclassical form with a dynamic, fluid silhouette, the Dublin bowl seemingly hanging on the edge of the sinuous S-curve. Along with that, of course, comes the grain: a knock-out display of flame and straight grain for the ages.
