Sandblasted Bent Apple with Briar Tobacco Pipe

Scott Klein has made this style of compact, muscular bent Apple shape a popular theme in his body of work, and there's a very good reason for that. As illustrated by Shane's collection of several different takes on this shape from Scott, it's one that isn't remarkably hard to find charming, nor is it hard to imagine as an enjoyable comfort pipe. Coupled with that, the Ivarsson-esque teardrop line of the extra-wide shank follows through to the bowl's heel, providing a stimulating cue to keep the fingers interested, here together with the craggy sandblast. Topping it off, this one does a fine job of keeping itself upright, resting on the underside of the transition.
