About This Pipe
As one learns to expect from Brad, here we find a beautiful bit of work showing both Danish influence and his own personal touch in its form, and just a whole lot of gorgeousness in the combination of briar and finish. While sporting an Ivarsson tear-drop shank modified to possess a lot of extra breadth, that element of the shape doesn't stand out here quite the way it would on many other pipes. Part of that is due to the way Brand managed to make such a wide, as well as asymmetrical shank look right at home on this well-knit curl of a bent Dublin, and part of it is because the playful silhouette (and contrast stained flame grain) simply tends to hog one's attention. (Mine especially.)
